The writer of this story grew up in Western Pennsylvania just outside of Pittsburgh on the Ohio River. He is one of six children, five of which were boys and all of which are now men. His sister was happy about her lot. Some children grow up on television-sadly. His father promptly threw the T.V. out of the window at his mother's prompting because she wanted her children to grow up in the woods. He thinks this is one of the greatest educational decisions of his life. Barges and trains, rafts and forts, fishing, fighting, hockey, tackle football and all around wildness accompanied him as he grew. After he "grew up" he studied philosophy, history and literature. One of his best memories is his father coming home and the smell of sawdust and winter clinging to his thick flannel shirt. He has four children of his own, which he and his wife take full responsibility for, loves America, woodworking, design, reads widely and will soon be getting a motorcycle. He is set to release Book Two in the series of The Chronicles of Eoorthe (as long as it doesn't take another ten years), amongst his other writings, once he gets his pilot license and jumps out of some more airplanes.
